We specialise in sourcing the highest quality lab grown diamonds. If you have a particular type of stone that you are after can of course source these for you eg: mined diamonds.

Yes, at Hands of Alfie we only sell certified diamonds. All our diamonds over 0.4 carat are independently certified by either the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) or IGI (International Gemological Institute).

Each diamond has a laser inscription on the side with the certification number. You will receive the certification paperwork with your finished piece.

Hands Of Alfie pieces are all made by hand with the highest quality of workmanship. Each piece comes with a 10 year warranty from the purchase date. This warranty covers any manufacturing faults. This does not include loss, accidentally breakage, damage or wear and tear, broken chains or stones.

It is important to remember that whilst our pieces are designed and made to last, they are fine jewellery. We do not recommend wearing engagement rings whilst doing anything "rough" with your hands eg: gym workouts (lifting weights etc), gardening or home renovations etc.

The best way is always to try and measure a ring they already own. You will need to know what hand and finger the exisiting ring is usually worn on.

We can then guide you to make an informed decision on the ring size - this may not be the exact size but will be close!

We offer one complimentary ring resize incase it's not the perfect fit.

Finger sizes really do vary but we have found that size L is a very common size amongst women for thin banded (2mm or less) engagement rings.

Do not stress too much if you get your partners ring size wrong. We offer one complimentary ring resize per order.

Simply ship the ring back to us and we will resized it and return it to you within 2-3 weeks.

You can either book a virtual appointment or email us to discuss your design idea.

We will mock up your design using 3D software so you can see the design before committing. During this process you're able to make multiple changes until you are 100% happy.

We will help you source the perfect stone and have our team handcraft the piece once you have approved the design.

Whether it be a piece which has been handed down through generations or simply a newer piece you no longer like the style of. We can help you create any custom piece of jewellery using your existing stones.

All of our pieces are sent with complimentary premium express shipping with tracking and full insurance. This is for both National and International customers.

International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes depending on the country. The duties and taxes to be covered by the customer.

All our parcels are non branded and discrete as to not ruin any surprises. If the order is a surprise we do recommend having the piece shipped to an address where your partner won't find it..... just incase!
